Australia: Bollywood's favourite destination

Mumbai: Australia has become a hot shooting destination for Bollywood. At this moment two major units are making films there.
While Siddharth Anand is busy shooting with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for Yash Raj Films, director Ajit Pal has been shooting major cricket scenes for his film "Victory" with his leading man Harman Baweja and real-life cricketers in a huge outdoor stadium in Sydney.
The schedule for "Victory" was completed Jan 23, but Harman decided to stay back for two days.
"Just to chill and to bring in my sister Rowena's birthday. She has come here to join me for her birthday," Harman told IANS.
However, Harman's holiday turned into a problem when he dropped his cell phone and broke its screen.
"For the past week I've not been in touch with anyone from India since I couldn't make out any numbers. Now my sister has got me the software to restore the numbers."
The shooting of the cricket scenes has made Harman quite a seasoned cricket player.
"Now I can any time switch my profession from acting to cricket."
Earlier, Anand shot his "Salaam Namaste" in Melbourne, and Farhan Akhtar too filmed some major parts of his "Dil Chahta Hai" in Sydney and Sajid Khan's hit comedy "Heyy Babyy" was made in the same city.
