Austin (TX): Moved by the plight of millions in recent Bihar floods, and to provide immediate humanitarian aid to the flood-hit people, JKP Foundation at Barsana Dham, Austin, TX has begun the “Bihar Relief Campaign.”
The foundation is urging your immediate response to help rebuild lives, homes and dignity to the people of Bihar.
“In the face of the biggest natural disaster in the history of modern India, it is our moral duty to support those affected by the floods with our utmost generosity,” said Bhim Sahu a native of Bihar now living in Austin, TX.
“Many are unaware of the extent of the disaster because of very little coverage in the U.S. media,” he continued.
The urgent need for aid of all types continues to grow as more than one million people are taking shelter in relief camps with more and more people streaming in by the hour. Aid has not reached to hundreds of thousands more who have lost everything in the flood waters.
